Vegas Baby!!

We decided to take a little family vacation before the baby comes. Luckily my dad was able to trade in his time share so we were able to stay in the AWESOME Tahiti Village in Vegas. It is a huge resort with an amazing pool. Let me just say that if you love to swim or just lay out and catch some sun, this is the place to go. It is far enough from the strip that we didn't even have to cover the girls eyes too many times. We did go there one day to explore the M&M Factory. The girls thought that was pretty cool. They wanted to get some cool colored M&M's but Chet refused to pay $14 per pound. What a joke!! After that we decided to stop and eat at the Rainforest Cafe. The girls LOVED it. They sat and admired all the animals. Other than that, we swam the entire time. There was an awesome lazy river that was huge. Kenadee could have spent all day in the pool, and Morgan wanted to play in the sand the entire time. Needless to say, we had a blast and our 5 days there went by way too fast!!

Part of the pool was made like a beach.

We had so much fun and hope to make it a yearly tradition to go down there. Next time I will enjoy it more because I won't be pregnant!! I still had fun, but lets be honest...how pretty can you feel in a swimming suit when you're 8 months pregnant!!

Shiner

So those of you that know Morgan, you would know how gracefully clumsy she is. Ok most of the time it isn't very graceful. She struggles running, jumping, skipping, and just plain old walking. The thing that kills me is that most of the time she runs into things while walking just because she is looking the other way. She forgets she is supposed to watch where she is going. And then there are the times she is just clumsy. Last night we were enjoying the nice weather on our back porch. I was cutting Chet's hair (which turned out great as usual) and the girls were playing. Morgan was WALKING and tripped on the crack in the cement. She fell face first, her head hitting the first step on the porch. This is the result of her carelessness....

Poor thing! The picture doesn't do it justice. Her eyelid is black and blue as well as underneath her eye. And then you have the huge bump that sticks out at least 1/4 inch from her face. Hopefully she learns to watch where she is going or else we are going to have some broken bones before the summer is over!

Easter...And Other Stuff

I had to start off by sharing a few pictures from Morgan's first and last day at dance...at least for a few more months! I decided to take her and try it out after many weeks of begging when dropping Kenadee off to her class. She loves to dance, so I thought Why Not! She looks cute and innocent in these pictures, but I was chasing her around the other times and couldn't catch her in action. Let's just say she is not shy at all. She enjoyed her time there mingling (or bugging...whatever you wanna call it) with the other kids in the class. She followed the teacher around trying to be her little "helper" instead of staying on her sticker like she is supposed to. All the other mom's there laughed and commented on how cute she is. I was irratated! Needless to say, I decided we will wait till she is 3 and give it a try again. Maybe she can follow the rules then.....YA RIGHT!! ha ha

As for Easter, it was so much fun! The kids loved all 4 easter egg hunts they got to participate in. The Easter Bunny did make it to our house, and the girls couldn't have been more happy. All I ask is that next year the Easter Bunny shop maybe a week or two early so we get don't get robbed on the variety of candy! There were no Peeps, no chocolate covered egss, no Reece's peanut butter cup eggs; all the good stuff was taken! The girls didn't care though. They loved it anyways.

At the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's, there was an egg on the trampoline. Kenadee and Skyler raced to get to it first. Skyler wasn't too happy when Ken beat him!

We colored eggs with the girls and they loved every second of it.
